Please Help Me!

every time i open the mine craft proxy from minshafter and i try to login it says "Cant Connect To MineCraft.Net" does anyone know how to solve this?

Problem 1:
this is not very common nowadays but the problem is that it cannot establish a connection between the client to the minecraft server\database. this can be solved by restarting your client. or logging in at a later time. but while it says "Cant Connect To MineCraft.Net" you can play offline.

Problem 2:
the minecraft server\database is down at that time and no one is able to play multiplayer until it is fixed.

Problem 3:
You do not have a very good connection and all packets being sent and received through minecraft is lost. if this is the problem. redirect to this link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
otherwise i will not be able to help.

the current problem your facing can only be problem 1 & 3. the minecraft server/database was not down today at all.

Thank you abyssauel for the info. ik it cant be my internet because i always have full bars and is always fast. i will try one of your other 2 problems. Also something else i notice is that my .Minecraft folder is empty. that can also be the problem right?

i believe what you have is problem 1, when you go to desktop//appdata/roaming/.minecraft, is there nothing inside or does it not have a .minecraft folder or, well im not exactly sure of your problem. but i think the connection between your computer to the minecraft database is lost somewhere during the connection. i cannot help you. sorry about that.

also can you log in to your account?

Yes i can login into minecraft.net and my .minecraft folder is there but theres nothing inside. and i think that once you open the mineshafter proxy it adds the info itself.Thats all i can say if theres no way to help do you know of any other clients i can use to get on GengaCraft? ill really appreciate it.

open mineshafter proxy -> click options -> force restart -> login

You Mean Force Update. anyway I Installed the information manually into the folder and iam now able to play offline and i can play NOW I cant change my skin but oh well all care about is being able to play. Thank you for trying to help me you at least helped my cousin who did have one of the problems you stated. Thanks man and Peace!.
