I made this guide for Noobies that come on our server 
1st STEP
So,first things first.You need to know where to make a good base.There are a few options:
On the ground
Underground
Bedrock-level
Dungeon
Skybase
You have to think about your specialties too.Example,are you good at melee combat,archery,mining or traps?
Ground bases are good for traps,also good for melee combat.
Bedrock-leveled and Dungeon bases are good for mining,melee combat and traps.
A Skybase is very good if you are an archer,but some quick traps can be made too.
OK so after you decided that,It's time to get some friends.You should choose your friends carefully,since not all players are actually nice.You should also try to make friends with different kinds of players,like miners,archers,etc.I will now explain how that affects you the best:
If you have a ground base,It;s good to have Archers and Melee fighters,Trap Mechanics and a few Miners wouldn't be bad either.
If you have an underground base,you should find some Melee fighters,Trap mechanics,Miners.Archers are not needed.Same goes for Dungeon and Bedrock-leveled bases.
For Sky bases you need Archers and Trap mechanics.
That covers the Defenses and the Base construction.
2ndSTEP
You can't trust anyone these days.Most people want to join you so they can kill you,while there's others who really want to join you.Here's some tips on how to find people who just want to kill you:
They almost always have diamond armor.
They played on the server for a while.
They were a mod in another faction.
They were in another faction.
They have numbers in their name.
Their name is similar to someone else's name.
They can be a very new guy,like joined the server 5 minutes ago.
That's all the info about People like that I have discovered.May update this Step soon.
3rdSTEP
By now you should have at least 2 more friends.You should make a faction.Now,make the Faction home at the original base,the one you constructed during the 1st step.
After you've done that,Its time to decide whether you want to be good or evil.
If you want to be good,kill the evil people(described on the beginning of the step),help players get resources,you can also kill others,but you should give their items back,you're not evil are 'ya?
Now,if you want to be evil,that's much easier.Just go around the spawn killing everyone,and steal items from every chest you find.Also raid a lot.
Remember,that if you are good,more players will help you when you need help,and if you are evil,you will get much more items,but at the cost of a small amount of players helping you.
